Gusto makes yet another public appearance to cheer for his peeps.

Reb and Christian Shearhod off to a good start!

Time out for some artsy stuff…

Christian Shearhod headed for the finish line!

OK, what’s not to love about these pants!?!?!?!

Looking good, Hottie!

My boss Sal and his daughter Sarah – geesh, can’t swing a dead cat around here without hitting a Texan!

Awwwww, sweet family with a beautiful dog. Wait, that’s my dog!

Our beloved medal winners!
Christian Shearhod 1st place in his age group.
Reb – 2nd in age group?
Lincoln Douglas Race – Metamora 3 miles – Love the Abe Lincoln!
This race is one year older than Steamboat. It’s an actual 3 mile race (not 5K)
I love this race – it holds great sentiment for me.
I would have ran, but Gusto and I were off to volunteer at OSF
We did have time to cheer and shoot some pics though, and I’m glad we did!

I loved this guy. He rocked the 8 mile.

Just a little fun with reflection while we wait…

Jeff “Reb” Rebholz. 2nd overall. Not bad for an old dude…

Christian Shearhod – rocked the 3 mile with a 4th overall and 2nd in his age group.
Way to go, youngster!

Look closely! Wait for it… wait for it… wait…

There are two polar bears at the LD race!!

This man deserves more than one photo. He deserves paragraphs and chapters about his greatness.
Gene Jones, (Meaner) my coach, my marathon inspiration.
65 years old, and running his 21st St. Jude Memphis to Peoria run. Here he is with his son Ryan.
Jonsey, you are my hero. I love you!

And this week on runninghotties.com…
We’re only two and a half weeks away from race day. Everyone has done so great we are very proud of each and every one of you. The tracks have been crowded and it’s gotten hot and sticky way early this year but you have done great. We’re running the course this week so it is going to be important that we all stick close together. We train as a team and race as individuals. Let’s keep our feet dry, our bodies hydrated and let’s have a great last few weeks of Building Steam and remember our three Fs – Fun, Fitness and Friends.

Can you believe I forgot my camera? Unacceptable! Here are a few shots that Cameron took with his phone.
